Andrea Owe worked as a GCRI Research Associate during 2021-2022, with a focus on environmental ethics dimensions of global catastrophic risk, artificial intelligence, and big-picture futures for the universe. Ms. Owe holds an M.Phil in Development, Environment and Cultural Change from the Centre for Development and the Environment at the University of Oslo and a B.A. in Fine Arts from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. At the University of Oslo, she was an Arne Næss Stipend holder and researcher at the Arne Næss Programme on Global Justice and the Environment. Prior to joining GCRI, she ran her own research consultancy in the field of applied ethics and future studies.
