Programs

Supporting the wider field of global catastrophic risk is one of GCRI’s primary goals. Global catastrophic risk is a complex, multifaceted issue that benefits from the involvement of a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, experiences, and areas of expertise. We aim to foster an interconnected, international community of people working together to reduce the risk of global catastrophe.

To that end, we currently operate two programs:

Advising and Collaboration Program

The Advising and Collaboration Program welcomes people at all career points who seek career advice and/or collaboration opportunities for projects on global catastrophic risk.

Fellowship Program

The GCRI Fellowship Program recognizes a select group of individuals who make exceptional contributions to addressing global catastrophic risk in collaboration with GCRI during a calendar year.
