Steven Umbrello was a Junior Associate at GCRI during 2015-2018, contributing research on emerging technologies risk, with an emphasis on advanced nanotechnology. He was also an M.Sc. student in Epistemology, Ethics and Mind at the University of Edinburgh, an M.A. student in Science and Technology Studies at York University, and Managing Director of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies. He holds an H.B.A. in Philosophy (2016) from the University of Toronto.
